Alexa’s Story: Told in poem form (Alexa’s point of view)
My mother died
And left me behind
My father cried when she passed away
My feelings later lead me astray
He raised me and loved me for years after she passed
But I knew that it wouldn’t last
So I ran away from home when I was ten
I would never see him again
For two years I was so happy on my own
But at the same time I felt alone
I defeated monsters all by myself
By myself and no one else
I ventured to the realm of Grim
If I had a chance to meet him it was slim
I fought monsters with my powers
It felt like I was there for hours
The monsters wore me out deeply

As I was staring out my bedroom window to see the thought-to-be-closed-range fireworks, I thought to myself if they were bullets being shot out of a gun or actual fireworks. I couldn't really see them anyway so it didn't really matter to me but the sound did. I just watched Youtube on my phone and kept switching from it to Discord. I was really excited of course for New Years because my mom always bought this kind of close to champagne juice in a champagne bottle.
